Delivers high strength and superior liquidity for furnace brazing applications with steel and stainless. Because of its wider range between melt and flow, this alloy works great for loose fit connections. The lower flow point may provide economic advantages in running a furnace.
BrazeIt #521 is a copper brazing alloy used primarily for low carbon steel. The temperature range between solidus & liquidus makes this copper brazing alloy ideal where fit-up is less than perfect. The presence of tin creates joints that offer improved corrosion resistance compared to BrazeIt #102 or BrazeIt #110. Also known as Phosphor Bronze, this alloy is a good gap filling alloy for furnace applications when steel is the base metal.
