Bellman-Melcor
offers the latest in brazing material technology — flux-core
alloys. Introduced in 2002, these products bring together the
highest quality alloys as well as precision flux control.
Available in both preforms and bulk packaging, flux core alloys
represent a new level of performance, convenience and control.
By locating the flux within the wire, the following benefits are
realized:

labor costs associated with flux application and removal

flux fumes
Flux core technology is available in the following compositions:
Silvacore #A38T (Bag-34) MSDS
Sheet
A general purpose alloy providing good
flow and ductility. Forms good fillets and is an economic alternative
to other cadmium free alloys.
Melt Point = 1200°F
Flow Point = 1330°F
Silvacore #A50N (Bag-24) MSDS
Sheet
An excellent substitute for Silvaloy #50N.
It offers good strength and flow characteristics and works well
on stainless steel and carbide.
Melt Point = 1220°F Flow Point = 1305°F
Silvacore
#A56T (Bag-7) MSDS
Sheet
A highly effective substitute for Silvaloy
#45. It has the lowest flow point of the cadmium-free alloys and
offers outstanding flow and ductility. Great color match for stainless
steel and silver.
Melt Point = 1145°F Flow Point = 1205°F
