CADMIUM BEARING
Although a majority of our customers have converted to cadmium-free products, Bellman-Melcor continues to supply alloys containing cadmium. Refer to the alloy reference chart for the entire listing. Some alloys may have limited availability. Our Customer Service Department will be happy to assist.

Silvaloy #50N (BAg-3)
Primarily used for the joining of tungsten carbide to steel, this alloy also offers good wetting characteristics on stainless steel, tool steels and nickel alloys. The 3% nickel content provides good corrosion resistance.
Melt Point = 1170°F
Flow Point = 1270°F

Silvaloy #45 (BAg-1)
For years, this alloy has been the primary cad-bearing alloy used. The low melting temperature and superior flow make it an ideal choice for the brazing of dissimilar metals.
Melt Point = 1125°F
Flow Point = 1145°F

Silvaloy #35 (BAg-2)
An economical alternative to Silvaloy 45, this alloy offers good flow and is well suited for application where fit-up is less than ideal.
Melt Point = 1125°F
Flow Point = 1295°F
