Silvaloy #50N (BAg-3)
Primarily used for the joining of tungsten
carbide to steel, this alloy also offers good wetting characteristics
on stainless steel, tool steels and nickel alloys. The 3% nickel
content provides good corrosion resistance.
Melt Point = 1170°F
Flow Point = 1270°F
Silvaloy
#45 (BAg-1)
For years, this alloy has been the primary
cad-bearing alloy used. The low melting temperature and superior
flow make it an ideal choice for the brazing of dissimilar metals.
Melt Point = 1125°F
Flow Point = 1145°F
Silvaloy
#35 (BAg-2)
An economical alternative to Silvaloy 45,
this alloy offers good flow and is well suited for application
where fit-up is less than ideal.
Melt Point = 1125°F
Flow Point = 1295°F
